Interview with Lama Ajeenah : Frank Scott: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?. Lama Ajeenah : The main inspiration is the experience a person goes through that shapes his/ her art/ writing, and character .Frank Scott: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?. Lama Ajeenah : I wanted to create a personal identity that reflects the character of my client and their writing style .Frank Scott: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?. Lama Ajeenah : The final design of the personal identity took almost a week, but the process of qualitative and quantitative research methods along with experimentation took around a month. .Frank Scott: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?. Lama Ajeenah : Because I am interested in projects that combines varied cultures. And I am interested in designing personal branding identity as it demands a close human interaction with people from different backgrounds. .Frank Scott: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?. Lama Ajeenah : It is used by the client. Actually, her book is published which is inspired by the same concept of the identity. .Frank Scott: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?. Lama Ajeenah : I was the designer for the project. However, a successful design is a reflection of an interested synergetic dialogue between the designer, client and the audience. .Frank Scott: Who is the target customer for his design?. Lama Ajeenah : fiction book readers .Frank Scott: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?. Lama Ajeenah : Usually fiction books are designed with strong dark colors. This branding reflects the feminin and simple style of the client along with the dynamic and rich cultures that inspire her. .Frank Scott: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?. Lama Ajeenah : Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshope .Frank Scott: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?. Lama Ajeenah : I received a free ticket from my director (Ms. Cordula Peters) which I am grateful for :) .
